When a WASHLET or NEOREST stops working, the cause can be the water supply, the power supply, or the unit itself, and the repair depends on which. Lutz Plumbing is San Francisco's only factory-trained TOTO Authorized Service Representative, so we diagnose TOTO units with the manufacturer's service procedures and can contact TOTO technical support when a fault needs it.

Two safe checks first. If the unit is dark, look for a tripped ground-fault outlet or breaker and reset it once. If water is leaking, close the angle stop valve behind the toilet. Do not open the seat housing: it contains mains voltage and water together.
When you request service, send the brand and model (on a label on the seat or the side of the toilet), a photo of the unit, what it is doing or not doing, and any lights or codes on the display. The model tells us which parts and procedures apply, so the visit can focus on the repair.

Many no-power calls start at a tripped ground-fault outlet or breaker, so reset it once. If the unit stays dark, trips the outlet again, or shows blinking lights, the fault is in the unit or its power supply and needs a technician. Do not open the seat housing, because it contains mains voltage and water together.
Why is my bidet seat water or seat cold?
Check the temperature settings on the remote or side panel first, and whether an energy-saver mode is on. If the settings are right and the water or seat stays cold, the water heater or seat heater circuit has usually failed. Lutz tests those circuits and replaces the failed component when the model's parts are available.

Coverage depends on the model, the purchase date, and the manufacturer's terms. As TOTO's Authorized Service Representative, Lutz performs warranty-compliant service on TOTO units. For other brands, send the model and purchase date with your request so we can check the manufacturer's terms before the visit.
